About Houston Surf
Houston Surf Soccer Club provides youth soccer programs for boys and girls in Houston, Klein, Spring, Tomball, and the surrounding Northwest Houston area. Our club offers a complete player pathway for families looking for a strong youth academy, competitive soccer teams, elite programs, camps, and year-round training in a positive and challenging environment.
At Houston Surf, we focus on long-term player development by helping players build technical ability, confidence on the ball, game understanding, and strong habits on and off the field. We serve players from the early development years through the older competitive ages, giving families a clear pathway as players grow within the club.
Originally founded as Legacy Soccer Club in 2020, the club joined Surf Nation in 2025 and became Houston Surf Soccer Club. Today, we continue to provide boys and girls with a structured soccer experience built around excellence on the field and significance off the field. Whether a family is looking for youth academy soccer or competitive soccer in Houston, Surf offers programs designed to help players improve and compete at a higher level.
2026-2027 Age Group Alignment: What It Means for Houston Surf Families
U.S. Soccer is moving youth soccer from birth-year age groups to grade-year alignment beginning in Fall 2026. At Houston Surf, we are approaching this change the same way we approach everything — with transparency, planning, and the player’s best interest first.
This shift allows players to train and compete alongside their school peers, creates greater roster stability, and supports long-term development both on and off the field.
