About Houston Surf
Legacy Soccer Club was founded in 2020 as a unique club soccer experience that puts boys and girls ages 8-18 on a pathway to achieve excellence on the field while having significance off the field.
In 2025, Legacy Soccer Club joined Surf Nation by becoming Houston Surf Soccer Club.

2026-2027 Age Group Alignment: What It Means for Houston Surf Families
U.S. Soccer is moving youth soccer from birth-year age groups to grade-year alignment beginning in Fall 2026. At Houston Surf, we are approaching this change the same way we approach everything — with transparency, planning, and the player’s best interest first.
This shift allows players to train and compete alongside their school peers, creates greater roster stability, and supports long-term development both on and off the field.
