The Eastern District Players League (EDPL) provides competitive teams in Houston and the surrounding areas with a structured platform to engage in high-level play. Operated by South Texas Youth Soccer, the EDPL offers divisions including Division I, Super 2, and Division II, catering to a range of competitive levels. Division I and Super 2 teams aim for advancement to the State Classic League (SCL) and are eligible for prestigious competitions such as the Presidents Cup, while Division II serves as an entry point for teams transitioning from recreational play, with opportunities to compete in events like the South Texas Cup.
