Ken Fogarty joins Houston Surf as the Foundation Phase Director, bringing decades of professional playing, coaching, and club leadership experience to the organization. Ken has spent the past eight years as a full-time director with uScore Soccer, where he played a major role in developing recreational and youth soccer programming and building strong development pathways for young players.

 

Through our partnership with uScore, Ken has already had a significant impact on the growth of the game in our community, and we are excited for him to now lead the Foundation Phase and Youth Academy development at Houston Surf.

As a player, Ken had a long professional career, playing for clubs such as Stockport County in England, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, and the Baltimore Blast. His playing career also included time in both outdoor and indoor professional leagues, giving him a unique and well-rounded understanding of the game at the highest levels.

Following his playing career, Ken transitioned into coaching and technical leadership, working professionally with organizations including the Tampa Bay Rowdies, the Kansas City Wizards, and the Cayman Islands National Team. In addition to his professional coaching experience, Ken has served as a Club Director for several major youth organizations, including Texans Soccer Club, Eclipse Soccer Club, and uScore Soccer, where he helped develop club structure, coaching education, and player development programs.
