Kirk Hopkins
U10 Girls Blue II

Kirk Hopkins has been playing soccer since the age of three, beginning at Klein Soccer Club before moving into club soccer with the Classics and Texans in Houston. He went on to play four years of Division II college soccer at Queens College in North Carolina and St. Mary's University. He continues to coach and play today, maintaining his passion for the beautiful game.

Kirk attributes much of his success and work ethic to his youth soccer days. As a player, his drive to compete helped shape his success, and that mindset has carried beyond athletics into his professional career. As a coach, he hopes to demonstrate how effort and hard work, both on and off the field, can help players achieve their goals and become strong leaders in their communities.

What Kirk values most about coaching with Houston Surf is the opportunity to shape young players and help them discover joy and passion for the sport. He appreciates that Houston Surf stands apart from other clubs by emphasizing the development of capable young men and women who excel both on and off the field, creating a lasting influence.
