Coach Patrick Gordon has been dedicated to the game of soccer for over 20 years as a competitive player and now as a passionate coach and mentor. A native of Beaumont, Texas, Patrick began his playing career with BYSC (Beaumont Youth Soccer Club) before continuing at the collegiate club level with the University of Colorado Boulder. As a player, he competed at the highest levels of collegiate club soccer, including back-to-back appearances at the club national championships.

After hanging up his cleats, Patrick transitioned into coaching, bringing his experience and enthusiasm to the next generation of players. He began his coaching journey with Boulder FC in Colorado and now serves as a Staff Coach, Administrator, and Youth Academy Coordinator at Houston Surf since 2023.

Patrick’s coaching philosophy centers around creating a fun, supportive environment where players can build confidence, develop skills, and grow their love for the game. He believes in the power of positive mentorship and aims to instill joy, curiosity, and resilience in every young athlete he works with.
